I have agricultural lime, what are the ingrediants of your lime? I get my oyster shell at a feed store, got it for 50 cents a pound. You can get it in pet stores or pet departments of supermarkets, but its cheaper if you get it at a feed store.

I'm not sure exactly what the ingredients are. The lime is all the way out north and I'm picking it up when I get the last of my stuff from my last home. So I'll get it and come back and list the ingredients. Since noone else is answering my question from my other post. Here it is.. hopefully you can answer it: Is it common for 1/2 pt jars to fully colonize 16 days after innoculation??

I'm not familiar with that tearm. What does it mean?? All I did was stearilize 1/2 pt jars and innoculate w/ 1.25cc worth of spore solution each. Kept in 75deg temps and checked every 2 days.

All I meant was to ask you if you used an incubator, or some device (styrofoam cooler, rubbermaid, in conjunction with a heater of some sort) to keep your jars at a certain temp during colonization.
So you got 1/2 pints to colonize in just over two weeks @ 75 degrees, thats pretty impressive, almost too impressive. But if it is mycelium an not cobweb, you did good.
