You need to research the mushroom your looking for to see results. Cubes are a dung loving species and even though they have been spotted on lawns(usually freshly laid sod that's been manured)your better off searching pastureland.

If you find them again, smell them.  They look like they could be something close to R. fragrantissima or R. laurocerasi, both of which smell distinctly like maraschino cherries.

They are poisonous actually.

I wish they tasted like they smell, but I highly doubt they do.  Next time I find one I will taste it and see.

Next time just take a photo of the mushroom you want identified.  It is not possible to identify YOUR mushrooms with certainty if you are using someone else's random photo that you found on the internet and think resembles the mushrooms you have been finding.

That said, whoever named that file doesn't know the first thing about identifying mushrooms.  Those two mushrooms are clearly Chlorophyllum molybdites, aka "Green Gills".  They are poisonous, and common in grassy areas in the south.

Gymnopilus species grow from wood, are usually some shade of orange, red, or brown, and have rusty, orange/brown spore prints.  Some species are mildly active, others are inactive, and they all taste REALLY bitter.

Other species of Clorophyllum look very similar C. molybdites, such as C. brunneum and C. rachodes.  They can be easily distinguished from one another by the green spores (hence "Green Gills") in C. molybdites, and white spores in the other two species.

Okay, so then the mushroom in that photo (Chlorophyllum molybdites, with green spores) is a different species than the mushroom you found- some other Clorophyllum species or maybe a Macrolepiota even- both of which have white spores.
