Ok heres a humidty ??
    #1065744 - 11/19/02 11:26 AM (14 years, 9 months ago)

Ok when i woke up from my power nap i fanned my cake and the perlite is still damp but seems to look like its drying up and it seems to be a bit chilly if and whn i leave it for a little bit.
I just changed to water in the air pump jar to hot ass water to maybe warm it up in the cool er but im wondering if its normal for the perlite to have a chill to it?

I suggest you invest in a thermometer to monitor the temp in your fruiting chamber.

Evaporation does tend to cause cooling. Unless it is <70 degrees I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If your buddy doesn't have one, check your local pet store. Mine has little thermometers for fishtanks for $1.99. has a suction cup to stickit to the wall, and the green zone for tropical fish is the same as for fruiting cubies. Works great.
