Liquid Growth Mycelium

I injected 2cc of spore solution in 2 jars of light colored malt to grow my mycelium and speed up the process of colonization the next time I innoculate my jars. It's the first time I try it out so can someone tell me if they tried it and what was the results?

i'm in process and no growth as of like close to 24 hours later. but i used karo instead of malt. i heard 10-12 days to complete colonization.

no such thing as complete colonisation.
At the most the mycelium will use up the honey, malt, karo whatever.
Best idea is to make the jars, let them colonise and refridgerate.

its been 11 days now. with honey, the mycelium is just little fluffys floating around, but at this stage, it is starting to increase by the day, give it at least 10 days before real notice. in some cases sooner.
