the leonid showers...

i live in the northeast at this time... i was out for several hours but between the hours of 4:30 - 5:30 a.m. here things began to pick up as i watched hundreds of trails of light, light up my sky... i thought about everyone else who might have been seen the same bursts of light and dig the fact that we felt compelled to watch this together... it really is quite amazing that things are predictable in this way... peace  :wink:

it becomes hard to image that we are on this planet watching these spectacular lunar events, when out in space this is an everyday occurance. I wish we would concentrate on expanding our human society by means of space travel, research, devolpment, etc., rather than kill each other.

I missed the meteors. :frown:

Yeah why are we busy fighting over stupid miscommunications when we could be living in harmony and directing all those resources into exploring the universe and improving our world. I'm pissed!  :mad:
