would two holes in a fruiting chamber(rubbermaid) one low and one high on the size move enough air for it to be worth the effort?

btw would the heavier gas leaving suck in fresh air?

I tend to think that the heavier gas WOULD pull in new air as it left...because it would leave a vaccuum to be filled. However, you want some good filtration on the incoming air. And if your filter is too air tight, or doesnt provide very easy flow through, then you wouldnt get much movement at all. I would set up a well-filtered aquarium pump, and a buble-stone system to push new air into the chamber, and push the heavier gas out.

I have seen a design for a ho-made filter that involved putting the pump into a shoe box sized rubbermaid container which has holes in it that are covered with hepa-filtered filter paper and fiberfill...The hose comes out of an airtight hole, and into your chamber. The box must be air-tight except for the filtered holes. Use ductape to seal it up.
