What will cause stalled or slow growth (during fruiting)?

What would cause stalled or slow growth during the fruiting stage?
Would this be CO2 build up? Not enough light?

you pretty much almost answered your own question.
To trigger pinning you need FAE (Fresh Air Exchange), Light on a 12/12 cycle, temps in the 76 - 80 F and a relative high humidity in the 90's RH

Whenever i trade for spores it is for examining the spores under microscopes to see their characteristics. There is no reason why I would ever want to nor will I grow mushrooms containing psilocybin while in the USA.

Nothing to do with light. Lack of moisture is #1 then temps out of the desired range too hot or cool. Infection can also mess with developing fruits. Lack of nutrients will do it too.

Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal
Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is
Gas Exchange vs. FAE

Thanks for the correction Hyphae
pftek are you having stalled cakes?! If so you should post some pics so we could better diagnose them.
If your just inquiring what would stall it then listen to Hyphae

Fairly warm here - 78 degrees to 82 degrees.
This is for a monotub. I had awesome flushes when I was was fanning and misting it 2x a day and leaving it out for 12 hours in indirect light.
Now I'm leaving it alone and not fanning and misting as often under LED lights. Usually I'll have a fan in the room blowing air around for 8 hours.
My flushes have dropped dramatically from the whole tub being full to random growth about 1/10th of what it should be doing.

The biggest thing you did wrong was stop misting and fanning. I personally like to mist and fan about 3 - 4 times daily. Make sure the casing is moist as well.

what's strange is that even the pins are growing very very slowly. So something is wrong. I wonder if it's too late now to fix? Once stalled or slowed can it be remedied? Or best bet to start all over?

Start fanning and misting=fix.

If your culture is old or your using a third or fourth generation clone it will cause this. Start over with fresh spores if this is the case. CH

Why are some people able to leave their monotubs sealed until harvest and others have to fan/mist??
could all be in the holes too.... like the other dude that didnt have enough holes and not at the sub level and top...... may have the polyfill in too tight...... may have to hold the mouth right.... I'm a poet and you know it.
