What Vitamins, Supplements, & Herbs do you use?....

Just curious what you all take as far as Vitamins, Supplements, and Herbs go....


My typical daily goods....

- Multi Vitamin
- Fish oil:  Omega-3
- (Organic) Flax Seed Oil: Omega 3,6,9
- Borage Seed Oil: Omega 6,9
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Milk Thistle: for liver health
- Saw Palmetto: for prostate health
- Valerian Root: Occasionally for taking the edge off and a sleep aid
- 5-HTP: Every other day to a couple times per week
- Melatonin: every once in a while as a sleep aid...Works great
- Cannabis: Anti-carcinogen, Expectorant, Increases blood flow, promotes hunger & well being :smirk:

That's it as of right now...There are a few other herbs i want to start taking

I try to eat as healthy as i can...But still, the amount of food i would have to eat to get the benefits from some of these would be a little much. Unless i constantly had em' in my diet....

And it's amazing the many benefits that herbs offer...

Valerian Root
Vitamin E
Vitamin C
Cod liver oil
Calcium
Rose Hip tea

and when I'm sick-ish, Thyme, Sage, Ginger, Mint, Lemon, or Thistle teas.
:grin: At least that's what I try and remember to take. Not as healthy as yours, but I can make most herbal aids as I need them.

I just take a multivitamin at the moment, every other day to every day.

Would you say ginkgo biloba has any noticeable effects?  It's supposed to increase blood flow to the brain, which improves mental functioning.  I'm thinking about it because improved mental functioning is always good, plus I'm in college now so it might mean increased awareness in class and maybe improve my grades.  I even heard that it could increase vision (well, not vision just more vivid perception, or something like that).  I think it would be much safer to do this than drinking a shitload of caffeine and taking adderall like most college students do.

I'm also thinking about taking ginseng.  Some people swear by it in improving overall health, mental functioning, and energy (which I am often depleted of).

oh yeah, I try to drink at least one cup of green or white tea a day.  I love it, not only is it refreshing, it also makes me more relaxed while making me more alert (the slight amount of caffeine).  I cut out soda and only drink coffee sometimes.  Too much caffeine is worse for you than marijuana and perhaps even mushrooms and LSD. :P

Yeah i would say it produced noticeable effects, obviously after taking it regularly for about a week or so. Especially when combined with everything else i take and some 5-HTP every once in a while i really noticed a lift in mental clarity, & mood.


Ginseng is another herb that i want to start taking....

piracetam and centrophenoxine(choline source+more) daily. It clears up my mind, I'm more awake,
and it makes the world look amazing. The colors are so rich, it is similar to how things would
look on a really low dose of mushrooms or lots of weed. sound is better, all senses really

I started trying phenibut a couple times a week, it makes me calmer and way more relaxed.
It feels like I'm at peace with everything, especially the day after, and almost eliminates
worrying thoughts(paranoid thoughts on weed are just shrugged off!)
also, I've never slept so deeply or comfortably.

I think i get enough of everything else from my food

Kratom, I take a low dose at least once a day, and sometimes I indulge. Other than that just some normal vitamins.

My vitamins come from fresh good foods mainly. As for supplements I take
Ginsing
Fish and Flax oil
and Medicinal Mushrooms

Ginsing is great and does everything for me that they say it does and then some. (Improved concentration, vision, endurance, and sexual power:thumbup: )  good for helping the body metabolize alcohol also.

Medicinal mushrooms are just as powerful as the ones we talk about here in my opinion. I take a seven mushroom blend that has Reishi, shiitake, lions mane, maitake and a bunch of other great ones from Fungi Perfecti, a washington company.  These things are beyond amazing.

Supplements are all GREAT! If you cant get the vitamins and minerals, and other benefits in your daily diet.

The problem however, is that most peoples bowels aren't working properly in the first place. So most of these supplements aren't assimilating into the blood stream anyway.

Before wasting time, or money on supplements, make sure your intestines are working properly.

I dont take supplements, I juice vegetables.
Kale
Carrots
Beets
Cucumbers
Ginger
Spinache
Chards
Lemons
Brocolli
Asparagus
Macca Root

Pretty much any veggie that can juice, I juice it. Mix em all together, its like a super nutrient-rich drink. Most people think you lose all the benefit from the "pulp" but the fact is that you only lose soluble fiber when juicing, and all you have to do, is add a little bit of soluble fiber into your juice, and viola!

and im as fit as ever, but i do go to the gym daily, but i feel no need to stop eating the things i enjoy.

as for vitamins ill take vitamin D once in a while.

Most people do "eat whatever" they want. That is why people so oftenly eat fast food.

Starch(bun) and protein(meat) when mixed together in your stomach, will shut down your intestines operations. (comical that it is the staple food for America)

Any food that is cooked, has little or no enzymes. Enzymes are needed for digestion, but are destroyed by heat, and other "cleansing" techniques.

Undigested food gets stuck in your intestines, and creates blockage. this blockage over time, will result in diseases that manifest from the intestine, as well as a bloating of the stomach, sometimes as large as 10x the normal size.

They say the average human has 15 lbs of undigested matter in their stomach. Do YOU want to keep adding to the top of that?

How many bowel movements do you have a day? If you are having less than 3 bowel movements a day, than you are constipated. If you are constipated, than the undigested food part applies to you. It is just a matter of time. You could eat whatever you want right now, but eventually it will catch up with you.

Everything that is not natural, is a toxin in your body. Your body stores toxins in the fat cells under your skin. The more toxin you put in your body, the more fat cells have to be created to store the toxins. Just like with alcohol, or marijuana, it gets stored in your fat cells, cuz it's a toxin. Alcohol especially gets stored just outside the kidneys, creating what we call "love handles" YES love handles are created by drinking too much alcohol, and never DETOXING your body.

Another thing to consider, is that since most the food that is consumed has no enzymes, it means your pancreas has to create the enzymes so that the food can be broken down. Well the Pancreas is supposed to do more important things, other than digest your food. So now you have an over used pancreas, which will eventually result in diabetes.

I'm only explaining facts, that medical science ignores, to cover up the truth.

I take:

Multi Vitamin
Ginkgo (which has some effects)
Fish Oil/Flax Seed Oil/Hemp Oil (Whichever one I happen to have)

I'm looking for more Nootropics to add to my regime.  I do try to eat healthy (I recently became vegetarian).
