Bluing at base of mushroom
    #10625106 - 07/05/09 02:32 PM (15 years, 6 months ago)

I woke up this morning to fan and mist my shotgun FC with the cakes and noticed a little tint of blue on the base of them mushroom stem.

Could this be lack of water? Or to much?

Good question but I wouldn't worry about it. Some people asked why does the sun come up in the east and set in the west, the answer is it just does.

Thanks man! There are still very good growth, I can see more pins coming. I hope I can harvest them all at the same time the last I counted I had 42 mushrooms on 2 cakes.

If you have that many pins on a cake, it WILL dry out mid-flush.  Set it in a saucer of water overnight for a quick boost.

Yeah they aren't very big an a couple have already broken veils in less than a hour. There no where as big as the other 12.3 size I had from a different cake
