Oak/Pine Barren Foray Pt. 2...(NOW with 40% MORE Amanita!)
    #10617033 - 07/03/09 05:09 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

This was my second foray to the Oak/Pine Barrens...in search of chanterelles.

!. Amanita flavoconia
2-4. Amanita flavorubescens
5-7. Amanita muscaria
8-9. Amanita rubescens
10.Amanita vaginata
11-13. Boletus bicolor
14-15. Boletus subvelutipes
16-18. Cantharellus cinnabarinus
19. Tubaria?
20. Leccinum?
21-22. ???
23-25. Amanita sp.
26. Tricholoma?

Found a few cinnabar chants and a bunch of pins...Anyone have any clues on the white Amanita... a white vaginata perhaps?:smirk:

Thanks for the help, Cactu!

There were a few Lactarius and Russula species as well, but it's hard for me to get excited about them...there were literally thousands of Indian Pipes growing up out of the litter.
