PF Tek FC Questions

I have made a FC using an 18 Gallon Tub from WalMart. I have drilled holes all over it following the RR video method.
1) Is it better to put the FC on a stand so the holes on the bottom can breath or on a hard flat surface?
2) My temp gets to 65 at night and 69 during the day, is this too cool?
3) I have a fan blowing near the FC but not on the FC to create some air circulation, is it still necessary to fan the FC?
Thanks in advance!

Most contamination is near ground level putting it on a stand is recommended.

That is a little cool. Around 74 is where you want to be.

Having an osculating in the room will help with FAE. fanning is still needed. Mist then fan.

If you keep a fluorescent lamp a foot or so away during the day, that should give enough heating to get you into the sweet spot. Those temps are perfect for night. Don't forget to mist a few times per day. RR

I got the FC on a stand and hung a small fluorescent light from a fish tank near the FC to generate a little warmth at night, so far perfect temps all night long. I am misting every couple hours too.
So far here are the results after 7 days in the FC.

Thanks Prism, Fungi and Double R.
I have another question on rubbermaid containers for grain tek, I would love to get your input. Click Here!
