Rubbermaid Take Along Container for Rye Tek

I am using this Rubbermaid Take Along container for Rye Tek using RR's Rye Prep. It is 4 cups and has a tight fitting screw on lid. I have acess to Tyvek, Polyfill or Micropore tape for my filter.
My questions are;
1) Has anyone tried these before? If so, how do they hold up?
2) What size hole is best for GE using Polyfill? Micropore? Tyvek?

I would think so. Probably crack when you shake your grains, too.

I've heard of some using some sorts of plastic containers to "microwave sterilize" brf, but I remain wholly skeptical as to the effectiveness of such endeavors, never mind using grains where you need to pressure cook. It is possible you can find autoclavable plastic containers, after all I use autoclavable plastic bags (spawnbags), but I suspect that they would also be subject to limited amounts of use.
