So I pastuerized all my hpoo last night. Let it cool overnight. Woke up this morning with a spring in my step ready to prepare my first stack n view monotub. Tore open the box only to discover that I had ordered the 21", 17 gallon tub instead of the 21 gallon tubs used in monstermitch's tek. Now I have no clue where to put the holes on this thing. Anybody have any experience with these? What was your hole location? What was your substrate depth? Did you case?

LOL come on man, you can do better than that!

"When one creates phantoms for oneself, one puts vampires into the world, and one must nourish these children of a voluntary nightmare with one's blood, one's life, one's intelligence, and one's reason, without ever satisfying them." Eliphas Levi
"The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal." Aleister Crowley

Yes, do case, put holes at substrate level and a couple on top...

Not much about what you will do to the tub should change. It's just a little bit smaller tub. Choose a substrate depth that suits the amount of spawn and bulk substrate material that you have available (I think that most cultivators range anywhere between 3-5" of substrate depth) and make the holes accordingly. If you want to case then leave a .5" for the casing layer, but casing cubensis is not necessary and many cultivators bypass this step.
Be innovative!
