So I asked someone who should know about shrooms about an easy way to dry them. They said to just put the shrooms on some paper towel up on a shelf somewhere for 3 days and then they will be ready. Is this an ok to dry ur goods? Any help is appreciated.

You really should have moving air... a small fan, back of computer, etc.
Dehydrators can be found cheap too.

If you plan on storing them for any period of time you will need to get some desiccant to make em cracker dry. any moister will make em rot.
DampRid is a good choice for beginners it can be found at lowes or homedepot. If you have a little cash to burn get Drierite it's laboratory grade desiccant & it's very cheap & reusable.

I will try the damnprid technique. But a fan blowing on them for several days would prob do the trick?

put damp rid in bottom of a container, shrooms above, but not touching damprid, by using screening or something like that, then air tight lid.
Here is one

hard to see but dam rid is down bottom, and then netting above, then shrooms would go on that. I actually use Silica Gel kitty litter, cheap way to buy "damp rid" in bulk.

Absolutely no air the desiccant will suck all the moisture from the air and not the shooms. Tell your friend to think again.
