Those look fine I would wait three days to shake the one on the right and the rest should be done with in the week.

But that kind of question is a question that doesn't have a definite answer. That's why it takes so long to be anwered. People just don't know the answer. It depends on so many factors!... Just chill. Shake at 30% and then wait for full colonization.

I've notice that your jars look to have a lot of moisture. That can slow growth. You have tyvek filter lids so your air exchange is right on.

RR has a video 5 steps to perfect grain.

I started making perfect rye jars and the results have been amazing.
I have almost 100% colonization in a week and a half.

Look into it, Hope that helps good luck!

As far a I know the current moisture you have is stuck that way. Your jars look good despite the moisture. I don't know much about using oats. If I was to substitute rye I would use wild bird seed. You can get that any place. If you have a green thumb try to grow some rye, I have a tek in the making. Feel free to check it out.

Try and relax so far your doing great, I use to have a high moisture content and it worked fine, but I did wait almost 3 weeks.

I've used wheat and found it sweet. It practically brings itself to perfect moisture content by itself and colonizes/breaks up beautifully. IMO it's better than rye, and if you can get it for a decent price it's something to look into.

once your jars are around 20-30% colinised give them a shake then they should be done pretty quickly.
