RE: "these little guys were everywhere not sure if they are fungus or plant"
It's Indian pipe, a "parasitic" plant without chlorofil.
RE: "And few more finds"
I would not eat those
the first boletes up top are good edibles though

Thank you psily The top two were the only ones I want to eat. The others were just what we saw on our walk. And thank you for clearing that up with the Indian Pipe my friend and I both were close with the name but we couldn't agree between plant or fungus (I was right lol). I look forward to enjoying my boletus.
Do you know if they are Boletus pinophilus or Boletus edulis? I'm leaning towards the second but if someone can clear that up would be great

How is it doing in NE PA? I am hoping to be backpacking in the area in a month and hope its still popping with mushrooms. I will be in Monroe county, so probably similar climate/ forest.

The mushrooms should be growing even better then. It's been very rainy here 8 days straight of downpours of up to 2" and I think it's been halting some from fruiting we found all of ours on a mountain side where the soil was a little dryer lowland areas seem to be soaked right now.The rains are leaving this week so it should be excellent for hunting And enjoy your camping trip. And found in the same area

I have family that live on a lake over in Monroe county, my cousins also are into mycology and we share a few chantarelle spots, black trumpet spots, a creekside covered in yellow foot chantarelles, some stumps with chicken of the woods, and a spot of Boletus edulis. sry for any misspellings, sobriety is currently defeated...

Sounds like a sweet area you should have some luck. I have only found one chicken mushroom so far this year and only a few oysters. With the rains ending hoping to find some more soon
