Well, the answer is probably not.. But, you might be able to squeeze a flush out of them if you slow down the growth of the green by raising the pH. TMC states that the easiest way to slow down trichoderma is to cover the affected area with salt, baking soda, or a solution of one of those (pg 310). What I would do is cut out the affected area with a sterile knife and prepare a paste of baking soda and apply it to the area of the cake that surrounded the infection.

Oh, and make sure to isolate the infected cake. You don't want the green to spread to any other cakes.

I'm pretty sure if it is green mold that means that it is green all the way through and it would be best to not even risk it. Remove the cake as fast as possible then destroy it

peace

Well, if it was 100% green and furry then you're shit out of luck.   I would probably give your terrarium a good cleaning before you put any more cakes in there.  A totally green cake is going to release a serious amount of spores.  It's possible to slow down a spot or two of the green on a casing or even on a cake, but not an entire cake.

I am trying a experiment. I have a couple jars with green spots in them, so I decided to inject those spots with H2O2. My intentions were to slow the growth or kill the green mold so that the mycelium can take over. I will post when I see the results of this experiment.
