    #10619009 - 07/04/09 02:51 AM (15 years, 6 months ago)

ooooooooooook so my buddy burst a bag...might as well use it for somethin...we're man enough to eat the colonized wbs...but whats the dosing like...and...is it gonna make us sick?
also....is there a better way of extracting it so we dont have to munch on crappy seeds.

Case it. If it is colonized, it can withstand contams better'n you'd think.

Eat the grains if you must... but I'll think you're a loser... and you'll just have to find a way to deal with that.

Well... in THAT case, the jury's still out.

If you eat it, let us know how it goes.

If not, good for you.

It isn't worth eating it, you would need to eat a few half pint cakes to get off good. It is best to spawn it or fruit as a cake and then just eat the fruits...why waste your cakes?

ummmmmm...did u not read my post at all?
im not using brf cakes...my bag of wbs wasn't fully colonized and burst open...exposing it to contams...its not good to fruit.
either i toss it...or get high.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAYS.......i just extracted a 1/2 pound of wbs in lemon juice...then added some ice lemon tea cordial...and some cold water...damn it tastes good!!!
i'll repost back in a few hrs if im sane enough.

The answer to the question you didn't ask is: no, you aren't patient enough to cultivate mushrooms.

Eating mycelium? How desperate are you?

eating mycelium isn't a desperate act at all, well, I guess it really just comes down to someone's opinion and all. After a few flushes, a used cake can make you trip pretty hard. After they have been dried, they are a bit like rice cakes. If you ask me, a rice cake with psychoactive properties is pretty cool.

this is a lie.
eating mycellium wont make you trip.
tried it multiple times personally..both with spent cakes and cakes that have yet to flush.
boiled the cakes to extract and made tea.
you feel absolutely nothing.
go ahead. you are wasting your time.

The word is ate.

Birds love it. I know when I toss colonized rye berries out for the birds in the winter, they leave the wbs in their feeders and go straight to the colonized seed. I suppose you could get some nutrition from it as well, but bird seed is hardly human food.  Tertiary mycelium is what produces actives, not what is colonizing grains.

Actually it's "eaten". "Has anyone eaten colonized WBS?" Eaten is the past participle of eat.
