Would running a hose in my backyard make mushrooms grow?

My backyard is always fungus heaven after rain, and I'm pretty sure its the perfect breeding grounds for some weiliis. Its heavily shaded by huge loblolly pines and sweet gum trees and has really nice Georgia red clay covered in moss and various types of grasses.
Im only going to be in town until Monday, and its not supposed to rain until Sunday night, so unfortunately I'm probably not going to see much fungus action back there naturally. I'm thinking about letting my hose run all day today on the ground in hopes that some fungus will pop up tomorrow. Is this a stupid idea?

You are kidding right?

Sprinkler better than hose. And not on constantly, either.

exactly. The mycellium won't really want to make fruits without humid air. and also..... you're "pretty sure it is perfect breeding grounds for some weiliis"? if you havn't seen them already in the yard they're not just going to appear... correct me if im wrong but weiliis' only grow in the wild in certain GA suburbs that were built 8-9 years ago? something like that.
