Rye bag... ready?

Say one had a rye bag that was incoculated. This person was really excited about it and kept mixing things up too much. Say that all of the rye is now lightly coated in fuzzy white mycelium (not thick and chunky) and the bag is starting to show condensation on the side. Is this the right time to add to bulk substrate... or in this situation, would the best thing to do is wait for the mycelium to get denser?

I'd wait and let the myc get a better foothold 24-48hrs. Your thin myc may also be a result of the grains drying out a bit due to over mixing this is common (drying of the spawn) when shaking jars too much and goes for bags as well. This is one of the main reasons we don't keep shaking. GL

tnks! so if the grains have dried out from too much shaking is it a loss or should it be added to the bulk substrate in a couple of days? i just want my babies to be happy and healthy.
