pressure cookers

just wondering if anyone in here is nice enough to post some links of online stores to buy a pressure cooker.. im looking to get as big of one as possible that my budget will allow.. how big of one should i look for and any other recommendations are fine.. thanks!

any of the vendors such as sporeworks carry american canners maybe pressurecookers/sterilizers. kinda expensive but i hear they last a life time :/

they are a little too pricey for me.. ive seen pressure cookers that are the same size for much less.. i think they might even be the same brand.. i just noticed there are a lot on ebay...

should i try to get a 22qt? how many jars fit in a 22?

you're better off to find a local restaurant supply dealer, even if you do find a cheap one on-line, its gonna cost you in shipping and handling. i bought mine at wally world, and it works fine for me.

i checked at walmart and i couldnt find any there.. maybe i didnt look hard enough.
it was like 3am and i was fucked up.. maybe ill try that again..

Look in thrift stores. I havent gotten one yet, but am going to shop for one soon. Hitting up the first thrift stores i come across

yea, you can find a lot of cool shit at good wills. tubberware, crazy machines that will lead you to think up some whacked out idea for an incubator, just look around. they usually have funny hats too.

also thrift stores have oil lamps which could be used as alcohol lamps using denatured alcohol as fuel.

Bought one at Wal-Mart the other day. 8qt that holds 10 1/2 pint wide mouth jars. $39.00. Three pressure setting. 5-10-15. K-Mart only had the 10lb 6 qt.
