Skeptical about LC growth

So I made a honey LC according to Otto's tek. Seemed easy enough and I saw that it was working for others so I figured I'd give it a try.
I made the LC two days ago, let it cool overnight and yesterday morning I inoculated it in a disinfected glove box with almost 3cc of MS solution. Today I go to check on it and I'm already seeing cloudy strands of white stuff (it's a little tinged in color due to the honey). It's kind of a clumpy cloudy deal. It does sort of look like this last picture does in Otto's first post, just not in that amount...
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5238137/page/1 ;
The tek said after a few days I'd begin to see signs of growth, but it's only been one and I've already got a decent amount of growth going on. I don't have a camera at the moment so I can't take any pictures, but just from what I've told you, am I f***ed or should I just wait and see? The temp in the area I've been incubating has been 79 most of the time. I'm thinking that if something has colonized this fast, how could it be mycelium? But then again, I inoculated with 3cc of MS solution and there were a lot of spores floating in that 3cc. I guess the obvious answer is to wait and see, but does anyone besides me have a bad feeling about this one?
By the way, most of the growth was towards the bottom of the honey solution, where the spores had been resting. I gave it a swirl and it kind of kicked it up a little.

It's not mycelium. It's the honey. Read up on those 15 thread pages. There's a lot to learn there!

When will I know if it's mycelium?

It's not mycelium. You'll see the mycelium in a few days if everything was done correctly. Just sit back and wait. Or lay down and sleep. There's nothing you can do to speed it up.

Don't even think about it for a week to ten days. Two weeks, even, when starting from spores. And 3 mL of spore water is a lot for LC, try like 0.5 mL next time. Or use Grain LC to start it- that's the safest and fastest way.

And you never really know if it's contaminated or not until you test it out. I would you pf tek to test.

Okay, I'll just give it a week or so until I think I've got some dense mycelium growth, suck some up into a syringe and knock up some PF jars.
Thanks everyone!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. I used about 2 ml to 2.5 ml a couple days ago and started seeing something growing within 24 hours. I'll have to give it a week or so and see what happens. It wasn't from the most reputable vendor, so I figured what harm could trying an LC do? I will definitely do .5 ml or so next time. Figured 2 seemed like a bit much.
