Question about temperature and subtropical Cubensis

I've got 9 cakes of a Costa Rican Cubensis strain in a shotgun terrarium. My question is about temperature... The guide I've been following recommends a general temperature of around 70 degrees F. It doesn't mention whether or not the required temperature fluctuates depending on the natural habitat of the strain. I went to Costa Rica in February and it was definitely warmer than 70 degrees down there. Should I match my terrarium temperature with an average Costa Rican temp? Maybe I should look up when shrooms usually grow there and what the average temp is during that time period? Or will everything do just fine at 70 degrees regardless of the strain? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;]

70 is ok. A bit warmer would be better, but not if it involves you actually doing anything.
Cubes is cubes, really. They all grow the same.

If Costa Rican's are anything like Puerto Ricans they prefer 72F as optimal for fruiting don't ask me why just something I've noted over the years from many a grower.
