pins growing slowly

hey shroomers
This is my second ever grow after success in my first grow I'm now having a problem getting my pins to grow. I am using the Pf tek with half pint glass cups , dunked for 24 hours and then rolled, then placed in a shotgun chamber with 2 inches of perlite.
-i mist and fan around 4 times a day and there is always condensation on the walls of the FC so i guess the humidity is pretty high, i don't have a hydrometer so i can't measure the humidity.
-The temperature fluxuates from 17C 23c or 62f 74f.
-Lighting is on when i'm home which is around 4-5 hours a day
After 7 days in the FC the first pins appeared which was Saterday morning. Now its Tuesday afternoon 4 days later and many more pins have appeared but havn't seen to of grow much more then half a centimeter max in this period.
So im just wondering should I be stressing about my grow or just be pashent and give them a bit of time to grow? The only thing i can think that is slowing them down is the temperature fluxuations or the humidity because i don't have anything to meausre it with. thanks for the help guys
ill add a picture i found to show the size of the pins i have, this isn't my cake just and example. The pins i have are around the size of the ones on either side of the cake. pins
thanks again aus.

if you kept the temps up between 70-75 F, it'd prolly help quite a bit. a full 12/12 light cycle would help, too, with a proper 65000K light.

try increasing the amount of perlite you have. Just because the sides have condensation doesn't mean that the humidity is high. I use about 5 inches of perlite. 2 inches sounds like too little.
Also, buy a hygrometer, that way you'll know for sure whether your humidity is high enough.

Hmm perlite is kinda cheap. I'm able to by 100 liter bags for the equivelient of 10.00 USD, and a analog cigar hygrometer is like 5 dollars. Anyways if humidity is the problem, then yeah you'll want to increase that or you'll be getting some very poor performance.
