ive got 1 cake pinning like crazy, i just took three cakes out of there jars 94% colonized with pins, but the parts that werent colonized smelled really bad like socks or somthing. i scraped those parts off, some kind of contam obviously(maybe sclerotia). what i want to know is are these still able to be birthed and fruited?

A dirty socks smell is a classic sign of bacterial contamination. Are those areas also slimy in any way?
Also, for the record, not only do sclerotia not occur in cubensis mushrooms, they are absolutely not a contaminate.

See what happens...
BUT I wouldn't share those shrooms with my friends if you know what I mean. AND I would not fruit them with any uncontaminated cakes.

People have made posts about using a 3% peroxide solution to mist casings with. You may be able to spray the cake with this and have good results. Quarantine the cake if you absolutely want to save it. IDK I always throw out contaminated cakes/casings.

To my knowledge, peroxide is only effective on cobweb mold.

They may taste like dirty socks...
I wouldn't dare say they will be deadly, but I wouldn't suggest you eat them either.

Rinse the cakes under the faucet to wash off the uncolonized/bacteria contaminated areas and then fruit normally. You can't do this with molds, but bacteria is easily washed off and not a true contaminant in the fruiting stage. In fact, it often stimulates better pinsets. RR

That is new to me!
Thanks for the input.
God knows I've seen my share of bacteria... someday I'll try it.
I generally think: If shrooms are growing, they are safe to eat... but it is hard for me to say this to n00bs on these boards.
