I thought the same thing wtf no one sells buckets
I have one Can I use it and cover it with tinfoil overnight till it cools? or does it need a lid?
I have tyvek should I cover it with that instead?

Use a cooler to pasteurize, leave the lid on overnight to cool. 2 birds, one stone.

sheesh, you could even use a rubbermaid bin or large glad container from the grocery store.
No buckets? Go to Home Depot.
I never had very much so a bowl with foil over it always sufficed, since I used it quickly.

i dont understand these questions, believe me you can put it in anything, the substrate doesn't know its in a bucket or not, i used a tool box lol, because i had nothing available...AND IT WORKED!!! just look around.

If you need a 5gallon bucket just drive down the highway and look for one. Only chumbs be payin' fo' buckets. ~Pixie~

I used one brick of coir(7-8 quarts) with 1 quart coffee grinds and 1 quart soaked verm and 7 quarts spawn and it filled my whole tub, is that a good ratio and is the contam rate high? I used gloves to layer and mix kinda but its thick and heavily frosted with grain even on the top layer Im scared cuz this is my first bulk but I got lots holes with polyfill its an ohmatic setup I can get pics If i Gotta
