Southeast AK Outdoor grow

Hey all. So I've got a couple friends with whom I've been in contact with about my "projects" down here in the lower 48 who are up in Southeast AK. I'm gonna be shipping them a few quarts of G2G transfers so they can give it a go.
Has anybody had success doing outdoor grows in southeast Alaska climates or similar climates who would like to give a few pointers on some cautions? They are in the Juneau area so it's about 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness.

I can't tell you how many different kinds of fail are involved here, but I urge you to rethink this plan.

Yeah, I'd sure be intetested to know about mushrooms in this light cycle, or cubensis specifically. Can't you mail a vacutainer of a culture instead? That would cost a bit for shipping I am sure. ~Pixie~

yes. quite illegal. if you are doing anything other than looking at spores under a microscope then you are best off keeping your business to yourself. shipping germinating jars is illegal in all us states.

You may have success outdoor if you get a batch going a month after the snow melts, and that's probably only with cyanescens. I've tried laying cube spawn in Kodiak, Kenai, Anchorage, Palmer & Wasilla. A friend tried in Homer and Seward; nothing. You may have better luck in the panhandle though with cyanescens. Never been there.
I'd rethink sending anything to Alaska. Their prison system is their 5th largest economy, and their trying to make it their fourth.
