If it makes you feel any better, when I read your post for a split second I thought Emilio Estevez was that little Cuban kid.

If that is the most horrible mistake you make today, consider yourself lucky!

emelio estevez isnt martin sheen's son. you're thinking of charlie sheen from that baseball movie, or Being John Malkovich, or more recently - the New York Mayor show.

Yes. This is from memory, and therefor may be not entirely accurate, but I believe Martin Sheen is Irish (Sheen) on his mother's side and Hispanic (Estivez) on his father's side. Like many actors in the past, in order to find work he had to play down his ethnicity, so he used his mother's maiden name for working. His two sons each chose a different last name. Charlie going with the workable Sheen brand, and Emellio preferring to go with his father's true last name, and that of hi paternal grandfather.

Something like that, anyway. The two brother were in the same movie once, where the played the famous San Francisco pornographers the Mitchell Brothers, but it was a bad movie... :frown:

My two favorite Martin Sheen movies are, of course, Apocalypse Now and Badlands, which were both excellent films! Apocalypse Now being Francis Ford Coppola?s reworking of Joseph Conrad?s Heart of Darkness, and Badlands being the story of sweetheart mass murderers Charles Starkweather and Caril Fugate back in the fifties, and one of the inspirations behind Quentin Tarantino?s screenplay for Natural Born Killers.

They were both in "Young Guns" too.

I think Esteves is the best actor in the whole family.

They were also in a movie where they were garbage men. Can't remember the title, but it was a pretty forgettable movie.
