    #1056972 - 11/15/02 11:40 PM (14 years, 2 months ago)

I'm thinking about growin with the grow bags from Spore Works and they say those bags are mainly for grain lovin shrooms.  Can you guys tell me which kind of spores are grain lovin, preferably the more potant strains.

Thanks  :smirk:

Many psilocybes will grow off of grain, but you need to be more specific, like how much cultivation experience and understanding do you have. If you are pretty new, I'd reccomend any cubensis, EQ seems to be a favorite around these parts.

Yep, psilocybe cubensis is the main (perhaps only?) grain-loving shroom

Using colonzied rye grain has been used by the commercial mushroom industry for decades.

All the cubs I can think of should take to it although the PF strain is apparently specifically meant for brf and verm cakes.
