small jars to win the race against the big jars

heres the problem, i had a spore print, in which 1/2 the print used for 1 syringe to inocculate 4 Qt jars, and the other half i wanted to make a honey jar. followed the pf tek, the jars now have mycelium growing but not at daily visible notice.. been 2 weeks now.(im thinking it will take a whole other month to fully colonize...so i made the honey jar via honey tek. its been since monday, the only thing i see in the solution is little feckles here and there, nothing that would be enough to be ok...can i still use the honey jar, would the spores if not started growing still be viable? if its worth the risk of making alot of 1/2 Qt jars to try and beat the Qt jars? should i buy new spores and just syringe the SOBs? btw, they are stored in an incubator i made at approx 82 degrees.
another problem i may have is that i heat the syrofoam cooler/inccubator with an aquarium heater. and the condensation falls ontop of the lids and builds up, and i believe the water is seeping through the 4 holes covered with masking tape, so i pose the next time i boil the jars, i keep the alluminum foil for the lids so that when they are in the inccubator, the water will just run down the foil rather than sit on top and fuck shit up for me..lol.
Thanks

what kind of substrate are you using in the jars? give the honey longer before you worry, still maybe you should more than just little feckles. Maybe too much honey in the water? don't know

im using the brf tek per ... im also using a very fine verm, i didn't know when i first bought it that i should get a med/large grade so the mycelium would have room and air to grow...so i was going to get whole grain rice and prep per instruction minus extra shiat like oil....anyhow, i was gonna maka like 6 1/2 Qt jars because i wanna get a flush by X-mas =o/

Oh DUH! my bad. anyways Quart jars are huge and take a long time and are usually used for grain. And they're only filled about 3/4 way full to leave room for shaking. If you have room for that, thats what I would do. Sure you don't mean Pints? The spores in the honey should still be viable. If you are going to start new jars then wait for the honey water to establish enough to spawn with it. Its worth the wait. and try using pints or half pints. I'm using 24 half pints and I inocced on saturday the 9th and now my most colonized is 85-95% and the least is 40-50%. I think I should be ready to case by next saturday. Thats only 14 days. So instead of a couple 1 quarts, try a couple dozen 1/2 pints.

duhh... they are pint jars after all, not quart... i filled the substrate to the top leaving a 1/2 inch to put just verm on it... but as i said before, i believe water is getting into the taped holes. the bottoms of the jars seem to be saturated and really dark(about a 1/2 inch).. is there a method to extract the water... i have turned 2 of the jars upside down to see if that done anything... it has only moved the water from the botttom to the top. but i think it will keep further moisture from getting in because the lids are on top of eachother
