Well, that's the thing; you can never be 100% sure your print/syringe is from the genetic line that the label says, but it helps if you trust the source. I'd trust something I got from a Shroomery vendor (such as Sporeworks) to be what it says it is. In my case, I got my print from a very trustworthy, well-known Shroomery member.

The works had mixed my prints up 2 times and my syringes 2 times also. I used to order all the time back in the day though. I was too lazy to make new syringes and was going through a multispore phase for a while,.
I will tell you this much,..... They never put an Amanita phalloides syringe or print in my order or mixed my PE up for reishi,.
It has always been a safe mishap, and they know who I am and treat me well, giving me free shit whenever I order.....
If you are a noob ..... mention the shroomery when you order and they will hook you up!

Multispore inoculation is never a strain. It is many strains. Spore prints and syringes are not strains, they are a collection of strains. The biology of fungus is not like that of plants which is why they are another kingdom of life. This is why people say a cube is a cube. If you want a strain you need to isolate on agar.
PENIS ENVY isn't a strain either. It is a variety as are all cube "strains" varieties. It's just mush-cult myco-slang bro...

because IMO its an environmental (growing conditions) thing, just like red caps or golden high yellow caps. change your lighting/temps/Rh during pinning and you will get diff results with the same strain/variety.

My PF Classics were a) very big; b) gnarly and ugly; c) great sporulators; and c) no myc spots at all.

Doin my first PF Redspore - Its just flushing now. The info Ive read says "...rust colored spores and fat-ass shrooms...". Ive had 3 cakes flush so far, and quanity is amazing! But they are LITTLE. The smallest fruits Ive ever seen.

This flush netted around 50 wet and 4 dry grams. Its def Redspore- I printed those couple "big" ones.
Anyone else noticed small fruits from PFRedspore? Maybe Im just used to the OI and GT Ive been playing w/ which gave me the same weight in 1 fruit!

Does anyone know what strain the "super gold" growkit by sirius is? Caps brown to orange, low yield, big fruits, fast colonizer on corn malt, "warts" on the caps? Edit: And it was infected with trichoderma after I carried in my mouth for several hours (I don't count bacteria because my mouth is less hygienic than a toilet brush and your's too). Had to reisolate.

I wondered why it didnt enlarge when clicked... Strange. Maybe did you copy the thumbnail instead of full size pic? Ive done that before...
Ive noticed that darker-headed pins seem to abort more often- at least for me.
