Everything is subjective and anecdotal without expensive lab results and not everyone reacts the same to various active chemicals. That being said, every person on this forum that has eaten and/or cultivated PE agrees that it's stronger than other strains, all other factors being equal.
Even without lab results, that's pretty hard to argue with. Gram for gram they're more potent on average. I'm not going to speculate on the hows and whys but I take it as fact, as many people here do.

Every one would think potency is relative to them, experence or through mind set etc, other times they may be able to handle the situation better than have handled it before- Then there is the placebo effect. And then the religious effect. "took so mant i seen god yadda yadda" if you dont believe in that you cant have that kinda trip either, so would there fore in theory would be less"intense" sense it didnt cause that kinda stress. So many ways to look at it

You can look at it however you want, it's a drug and the strength of the affect is directly related to dosage.
Are aborts bluer than regular fruits? Yes. Stronger? Yes. Is pe bluer than non-pe? yes. even the pe mycelium is bluer. Is the blue color from the active drug? yes.
Complicate it all you want. But it's pretty simple to grasp whats up.
And what lurking wizard said...your friends accuse of you dosing them on cid because they weren't anticipating the ridiculous potency.
What if I sat here and tried to convince you all that kush and mexican ditch weed have the same potency. If I told you that the little keef crystals didn't mean a damn thing. How would you respond? "well there's no scientific data to support that kush is better, so just give me some of that ditch weed over there. It's all the same."
It's like these idiots I occasionally run into who say. I ate it and didn't feel anything. How much did you eat I ask. One. One what? One mushroom. As if they have no grasp of the concept of dosage.

Question on mystery strain: My friend grew up some cubes from a syringe he bought at a bong shop with no indication of strain. First flush showed very tall fellows largest being about 13inches tall and 23g wet, fairly hollow stems and the veil stayed on the stem when it tore. I know hollow stems are a strong indicator of strain, any thoughts?
Side note: His first grow!

tall lanky stems, can be from lack of FAE, as well hollow stems can be caused from fruiting at higher temps..
genetic's also but you already stated that so i left it out
