EXACTLY how I see it myself.  If you take everything into account (enviro, experience, body mass, etc), there isn't much more to say than it is entirely subjective.  Chemicals "talking and shaking hands" with other chemicals...

Interested in hearing more about the Brazil and Puerto Rico strains...Anyone have experience with these?  How, um, interesting are these to study?  Also, I've recently been hearing something about a White Lighting and Oracle strain....Wasn't able to loc any info about them on quite a few forums, including this one...Anyone care to put their input in on this?

Man, I feel the love.  New moderators really setting the standard.

On a more worthwhile note, What is the deal with Puerto Ricans?  Very particular fruiting standards, tips anyone?

It's one of the more finicky ones.It likes to vegetate longer/ more densely, kinda like PE.  Back in the day when casings were popular PR was prone to overlay.

So one might expect the top layer to be nearly colonized completely before fruition?

I really believe that a cube is a cube (mostly), but there are definitely some characteristics that vary from strain to strain.  Take PE for example.  It has been highly domesticated and has very different characteristics than other cubes.  I don't think that the "cube is a cube" statement necessarily always holds true.  We also have to remember that many here inoculate via MS, which itself causes variation within a strain.

I would have to agree.  There are minute differences in chemical levels between "races".  Seems like a more fitting term.  I believe that it's generally more the grow conditions that affect the potential of the flush but sometimes it's a little more of a dud than another.
