It's too bad a sample couldn't be lab tested.

Considering the average low in Oak Ridge is 25F/-4C and in parts of Southern Ontario it's 21F/-6 to 18F/-8C, I'm thinking it might be a neat experiment to see if it's possible to get a self sustaining outdoor grow going. See if it will at least overwinter for one season into the next.

I wonder if they're Cubes.

Average temps there in January is 15F/-9C.

That's what I'm getting at...they survive the cold winter temps and fruit again the following season.

You should try and get a print and culture sample next season.

You may be right.

I of know people in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland who have picked semilanceata. I've never heard of Cubes being in those parts.

To cube or not to cube - that is the question.

Y'all need to grab a room, eat a pile of cubes, and make friends! All about the love man!

Oh yeah, did you hear the latest?

A cube is a cube is not a cube in some cases.

RR used venom to break down the cell walls so he could germinate really old redboy spores, it had nothing to do with crossing the genetics of the cubes....thats what a microscope and petri dish is for. :strokebeard:

putting 2 cubes together isnt a big deal, now if you cross a cube with an Azure or oysters then you have something. :yesnod:

Didn't he also use venom mixed into agar to cross PE with Texas to create PE6?

:batboy: Just read a post about PE having a tendency to make some blob fruits on the first flush and then fruiting normally on the second flush.

How common is that going to happen? :chriswalken::goodnews: What provokes the reaction?
Can it be avoided on straw logs? :harhar:

I just had a PE cake grow out 'normal' looking Cube fruits. Was also grown on a straw/coir mix.
