question- if a casing of 100% colonized mycelium looks perfectly healthy, is it possible that it can still be contaminated?

You never know what's in the inside of a casing or a PF cake. Even though it looks healthy on the outside.

I guess it can be contam'ed. It never happened to me though (at least that i know of).

Now that i think of it i had a few casings that never pinned at all...  :shocked:

Yes, green gobels up healthy casings.

And I think you may have better luck with this question in a different forum like, say Contamination or Cultivation.

my throat is all swollen and my nose is stuffed up, i was just wondering if maybe its from the casing. either way, i feel like crap.
