Ive seen pics of mycelium that looks like cobweb mold, and cobweb mold that looks like mycelium..... Lets just say i can never be sure that i have cobweb mold. If i birth the cakes anyway will they grow shrooms? If so will they be harmfull?

Well, a cake should be a bright white color upon birthing. Once you've seen a few, you'll be able to tell the difference.. If you birthed a cake with cobweb the real danger is that it could spread to other cakes and/or casings. It would probably overtake the cake if it is indeed cobweb. If you can, birth the suspect cake away from the others.. After sitting out for a while you should be able to tell very easily if you have cobweb or not.. Good luck.
