Psilocybe Hispanica.. anybody grown it? Know how? * 1

Hello,

Well, psilocybe hispanica sounds like the perfect little mushroom to establish an outdoor bed in winter-plagued canada. I want to get it out doors and give it a chance to spread. My area is almost identical-sounding to where it was found in spain. I know it needs to fruit on dung, but what kind of substrate can I grow mycelium in? What temps for incubation? Anybody know these things, or know of a tek out there?

Workman grows it. I never have.

I can't imagine it's much different than any other dung lover. Start on agar if you can't get a syringe. Agar to grain, grain to dung, compost (or possibly straw/dung combo) in an outside bed. LIke most outdoor beds, case it with a more sturdy mix than our indoor casing mixes, a potting soil or even scotts three-in one.

I'm sure workman will have a few more nuances for you, but I bet those are the general guidlines.

Report your results for others to explore the hispanica.
