Q on extermal rh for casing

I have my casing tubs sitting atop moist perilite and also my bubbler running into the terrerium for air exchange. I was wondering if this all might provide TOO much humidity for the casings?? :confused:

Does anyone know what the ideal external rh leval for casing?

i would guess that you're getting too much humidity but you don't say what the rh is.

According to Stamets the optimum humidity is 95-100% for pinning and 85-92% for fruiting. :smile:

At one time my cat had the IDENTICAL setup for casings - it was way too high RH and He lives in the Southwest were RH is never higher than 30% year round outside. Great success will come if you nix the bubbler and stick to the moist perlite with a few fans throughout the day.
