Question on WBS/Mycelium

I've Been trying to square down for a while now why I'm losing projects here and there.
When I lose the project its always before the first flush so I'm aware my spawn is bad.
My question is will bad spawn that is possibly white trich that hasn't sporelated yet colonize around 10 days from g2g too?
10 days is my average for g2g
I never ever see any green in my wbs jars so i'm finding out if its there from smelling.
I smell every jar I spawn to my coir and It never has that sour dirt smell I keep smelling for.
It doesn't help my since of smell is completely almost gone from taking nasal medications my whole life.
I been running with Large doses tek but from my understanding coir is very hard to contam on its own so it has to be my spawn.
I even posted another topic the other day thinking maybe its from my glovebox when I have to stop and put the rest of the jars to g2g in the glovebox but before I put the next batch in I have the master jar lid on and tight.
Sorry If i'm rambling I'm just very frustrated as I take a lot of pride in this hobby to haveing a good clean succusful grow everytime.
It's one of the best things I've ever started learning from starting with the pftek to bulk growing to agar for cloning.
Thanks for the help everybody

Sounds like poor pasteurization of the bulk sub to me. Seems like you'd see green in the jars. Plus the mycelium looks a lot different. Pics would help, of course.

Nice thanks doc
I've had thoughts of changing the pasteurization as I have been iffy with it but have read a lot of succuss with the large dose tek
I'll post some pics of the jars

how are you pasteurizing? I'm currently trying to refine my past. method. Right now I am mixing and hydrating my sub to field capacity, loading it into quarts covered in foil, putting them in a pot and filling the pot with water till they just barely start to float, then turning the stove on medium with a meat thermometer stuck down in the center of the foil on the center-most jar and also letting one thermometer probe into the water outside the jars. Then I just keep an eye on the thermometers until the core of the jars reaches about 150-170. I let it hang out at this temp for an hour or so, turn off the heat, and let them cool off still floating in the water overnight with the lid on the pot. Then about 12 hours later I spawn. Opinions?

What would you recommend for pasteurizing
I don't think large doses tek is good for me

What is it you are pasteurizing? Maybe some of your ingredients need special handling?

update I had 2 tubs colonizing when I made this topic.
Those bad boys went green before the first flush too.
Last month I had around 5 good monotubs of TC that I took to around 5 flushes
0-4 on my PE tubs dang it
I will figure out where the problem lies

Where are you getting your coffee? And how are you storing and prepping it?

I get my coffee from starbucks
and I freeze it in the freezer as soon as I get home
Before I prepare I let it unthaw a little because its harder than a fucken rock..unthawed until its nice and stirable.

Hm. Starbucks coffee should be pretty fresh... so PCing the grounds probably won't make any difference. It's worth a try, though.
I bring the water to a boil in a big pot, drop in the verm and let it boil again. Then I put in the coffee (which I sterilize in jars) and bring to a boil once more. Then drop in the coir, turn off the heat and leave it to cool. Works ok for me, try it that way if you like.

Try doubling it and see if it helps. Some times uping the amount of spawn in a bulk substrate will help it to colonize faster and lock out the contaminates.

Or 8. It's just to see how it goes. Either it will work, or fail dramatically. Either way tells you something about your procedure.

If you're concerned about using too much spawn, do G2G transfers. Pick one nice looking dense jar and use it as the master. I can put 3 nice tablespoons full of colonized seed into 14 new jars each with one master jar. Shake those bad boys and you'll have 14 fully colonized jars in about 8-10 days. It's a beautiful thing to wake up one day and realize you have TOO MUCH SPAWN.

I had another 2 tubs go bad they had 5 quart jars each
I made another tub with 8 quart jars of spawn to see how that goes.
I'm pretty pissed
As a test I did everything in a different room and kept the tubs in different rooms while colonizing didn't make a difference.
Is it possible i'm running into senescence? Because the mycelium colonization is just terribly weak it's an LC of PE
Quick thing to add I got a fresh bag of spent coffee for the tub that has 8 quarts of spawn
