one cake casing

it's a first grow and want to try casing. something easy though probably just a verm mix. Is it worth it. don't want to lose cakes...still too new... that's why just trying one. Is it even possible?

Make sure if you are using one cake your casing container is pretty small. For one cake I would say something like 6"x6". But I say go for it.

Yeah, there's those ziplock plastic containers that are perfect size and cheap.

i found that little aluminum baking pans work well. at grocery store or *-mart

The only problem with alumnium (and I haven't had this problem, just read about it a couple of times) is that the mycelium will break down the aluminum and cause your casing containers to have holes.

It explains casing two halfs in solo plastic cups. Sounds like something you might want to try.

thanks for the tip. i will watch for it. no (apparent) problems so far going into flush 3.
