 recommend me tripping music? (classic rock/psychedelic)

Hey can you recommend me some good songs/artists for tripping or smoking? I listen to stuff like the who, the doors, beatles, neil young, syd barrett, electric wizard, jimi hendrix, santana, eagles..etc. im not really a techno fan.

tripping i prefer the grateful dead or some phish.

I recommend Minsk or Oranssi Pazuzu if you are high or tripping.

phish is a great band
check out their "picture of nectar" and "rift" cd's
the derek trucks band is good if you like blues influenced rock
the mars volta's "frances the mute" is my most favorite tripping cd in the world
great fucking cd!
i would suggest soundtribe, but you said you dont like techno, they are a band that plays rock with a techno beat playing as well.

13th Floor Elevators, arguably the pioneers of psychedelic music.
The Pretty Things. S.F. Sorrow is almost as good as Sgt. Pepper's, and equally psychedelic.
The Zombies. Odyssey & Oracle is an essential psych pop album.
All good '60s psych that I'd imagine you'd like based on the stuff listed. Ask if you want more.

I should ask the O.P., have you heard 13th Floor Elevators? I've seen you mention some bigger names from that era (or slightly after), but not them.... and they are sooooooo goooood. I know stereolab mentioned 'em already, but it bears repeating.
