It's just a regular Cereus plant. Not psychoactive but makes some tasty fruits if you live in a good climate for flowers

Thanks auvamusic for opening the thread back up I was hoping to get an ID on these little guys. Bought them as peruvianus but I suspect they're actually pachoanoi. Any input would be greatly appreciated

You need to start your own thread. It makes this a lot easier and more people will likely reply.

Also  your pics aren't clear enough for me to count the spines per areole nor see the tinge or spacing of the areoles.

I Need clearer pics to give you a solid ID.

Yeah I just zoomed in on some pics I had on my phone I'll try to remember to get some better ones this evening. There are 4-7ish orange/brown spines per areola which is a very light tan color. Didn't really want to start a new thread, but I will if you think I should. Also,I'm brand new to the forum didn't realize I was replying directly to you thanks for your input

It's ok Bro. You can post your pics here if you want I just know you'll have better luck and possibly more people  to view it in a brand new thread.

A lot of people don't like old resurrected threads so I've noticed less responses when people try to use them.

Post a LOT clearer pics wherever you want and if no one else will, I should be able to help you at least.

From the number of spines you told me about I'd imagine you have a cross of some sort likely with some bridgesii genetics and I could kind of tell that the areoles seems far spaced so that seems bridgesii as well.

What was it sold to you as? Did they just say Pach?

Could be a Bridge X Peru or a Peru X Bridge. (No matter what) from the very little I can see from your picture and from what you told me, You DO have some Bridge in that plant in 1 way or another.

That's awesome to hear thanks man! I thought bridge/Peruvian had long spines even as pups that's the main reason I was thinking it was pach. Thanks again I'll be sure to get you some better pics when I get home tonight

Ok Now it looks more Peruvian than in the first set of pics. I'm going to say it could still  be a cross but it does have  Peruvian in it.

Struggling with ID, circling around; once i find one San Pedro, I'll know it when I see it. Is this a look-a-like? The ribs seem thin compared to most photos :/.

Thanks ~ Loves!

You are right. ribs are too pointed. I don't have time to look  at it real well but quick guess something like a Pilocereus. I  don't think it's a Pilo for sure but I can't think of the name of the plant I think it really is right now being I'm in a rush.

Still at work now

Looks to be a mexican fence post cactus aka Pachycereus marginatus. Definitely along those lines if it's not.

To me they all look like active trichocereus cacti.

Only one way to find out how active they really are. 3.5 feet shared by two should be a pretty strong trip. :sun:
