I don't think it would make sense for it to contain DEET, since DEET is not for killing insects, but yeah I think there is a way to make diethylamine from DEET. And you could use that in making drugs like LSD or DET.

Diethylamine is a fairly common laboratory solvent. My father had a gallon of it in his lab that I had to dispose of when he died. I just left the bottle open outside and let it evaporate over the period of a week. The crazy thing is, for days we had vultures circling the house trying to find the corpse. The low molecular weigh amines are major products when animals decompose, espically fish. The odor we associate with dead fish is diethylamine and other similar amines
The foul odor that is given off by Bradford pears when they bloom is diethylamine

While diethylamine would be a useless reactant in meth synthesis, it might possibly be a good alternative solvent in lieu of ammonia in the birch reaction

Oh it definitely is, but it is produced in massive quantities and it probably takes less than one gallon to produce the entire world’s supply of lsd
