cobwebs, casings, contams, oh my!!!

i just cased my first two cakes and here come the slew of questions.....

is it still possible to get cobwebs as a contam after casing?

how long should i let it incubate?

cobweb looks too much like mycilum growth...help me tell the diff.

yes you can still get cobweb. i recognized it because it is more grey than mycelium plus it sent out thin threads that looked like strands of cobweb over the top of the casing.

you should incubate it for the length of time described in the faqs.
