How much light is too much light?

I'm using a lamp with a 40 watt bulb as a heat source for my shrooms. It keeps it at a nice 75-77 degree's but I'm wondering if 24 hours of light would in anyway hinder the growth of my shrooms. The strain that I'm currently growing is B+.

i use 24 hours of light and its fine ...it wont hurt it a bit ...as light is only needed to initiate pinning so the mushies know which way to grow..

On my first grow I had a light on the cakes 24/7 and they did ok.
