pan. cyan cultivation horror ...

Hi there !
I often tried to cultivate pan. cyan without success.
After the jars are fully colonized i followed the different teks and mixed
it with either vermiculite/dung or straw/dung or test various combinations.
Sometimes without dung. I want to know if the dung is filled with additional
chemicals.
But this is unimportant to my result... nothing !
The composition is filled in bags and put to the same conditions the rye
was colonized in 7 days.
There is no process of growing. After two days i can't find any mycelium left.
Maybe it is too wet, but i dont think so.
Any advice ? I could post some pictures, but you wont see something special.

How wet is it? How did you preprare the straw/dung?

Hi Anno !
I followed Una's tek, soaked the straw, mixed it with dung and vermiculite and put it
in a pressure cooker for one hour.
After cooling down i add the colonized rye.

With cubensis i made goog jobs with coco soil.
To cultivate pan. cyan. i dunked the coco soil in dung/water.
Pressed out the water and ... mixed with the colonized rye.

another try :
Artificial manure contains the same ingredients like cow dung.
I resolve the Artificial manure in water and dunked the coco soir.
Pressed out the water .....

hmm... i own two strains from pan. cyan. and tested both without
success.
Thr growing stops immediatly if i want to mix the rye.

My next attempt is to case the colonized rye without mixing and
do a top layer with dung/vermiculite.

i forgot..
it is not too wet, its always flaky (<- ?? right ?) and
crumbly.
You have to press it forceful to get some water out.

Seems like bacterial contamination problem at the stage, when you spawn the dung with rye.
I?d try preparing the spawn with millet and taking a substrate made of straw and dung.
