Man I was just thinking the other day there is so much aged poo around here I should seriously start selling it...would their be a demand for just straight up aged horse poo...?

As would I. If a good deal is available, I'd definitely be interested.

You'd be better off buying it dry and pasteurizing it yourself. Not only would the shipping costs be far lower by not shipping water, pasteurized manure has a short shelf-life and should be used right away.
I live in an area of open range land, and have horses, cows and llamas on my property every day. I could get tons of the stuff within half a mile of my cabin, but don't want to put up with all the bitchers. That seems to be what drives most legitimate vendors nuts. RR

i dont believe there would be to many bitchers if they had good communication and fully disclosed the wait times

I strongly agree. There are vendors on here I have never heard anyone complain about and for good reason. I realize that every now and then you get people you CAN'T please and usually you can spot em but if there are enough people bitching at you, I would take it as a sign/feedback (that I am not doing things right) rather than feel annoyed.
Don't sell what you don't have and pay for proof of shipment and ship within a few days. Seems simple enough. I think doing that eliminates pretty much all complaints unless it is about the quality of goods which to me are always valid with proof of course.
I agree buying dried is where the real deal is at. Selling pasteurized as well is of course an option, but it wouldn't be a deal money wise with the already said shipping water weight and the process of someone else doing it.

If I were to do this, and I might one day. I'd set up a system where I enter how much I have in stock/ready to go and only that amount can be sold.
That way you can't really oversell unless some of your inventory goes bad.

My mom has a small farm with a dozen or so horses. She's been trying to find a small at-home type job for supplemental income. Been trying to talk to her into selling some of her horse poo. She carts out a good 50-100 lbs a day out of the stalls (2 wheel barrow loads or so) and just piles it up to compost.
So I bugged her again today so she's going to try (with my help) to sell some on ebay and see how it goes.
I wonder how much poo you could stuff into a 12x12x5.5 shipping box.

flat rate shipping on these is $13.50.

It will work better. Straw needs to be used in much larger quantities than horse manure, to be of much benefit.
Anyone with a large pot to boil noodles in can pasteurize manure in quart jars or filter patch bags. In addition, I've been in about 50 to 60 countries in my life, and I've never seen a single one without horses. You guys just aren't looking hard enough.
I've even collected manure from the Seattle Police Department mounted division, and they were glad to fill up a few totes for me. It saved them from having to haul it off themselves. All ya gotta do is ask. RR

Fuck yea RR there is a great idea there are MANY mounted units around here. If only they knew what they were aiding in LMAO. Very good idea...I had a question RR if you could grace me with a bit more time, is there like a golden aging time period for manure? In other words I know there is such thing as not aged enough but is there such thing and aged TOO much? I assumed the extremely aged manure (like 3+ years) is better for gardens but thought I'd ask. I passed up some manure someone claimed to be 6 years old the other day...

yes it can be aged too much. If it looks like dirt, its too old and will just turn to mud when hydrated to "field capacity"
