Some really cool fungi (non active)
    #10451723 - 06/04/09 03:30 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Hi all,

I just wanted to share a few weird photos from my hunting excursions!  I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do

Pic number 1 is a cool one.  These things live in the ceder trees lining my property, and fruit for about a week mid spring.  Their like gelatinous hairs fruiting from a porous nut!lol

Pic number 2 is one of the weirdest, and most fascinating things I've seen in my life.  This fungi is only about 1 cm tall!

Peace!  I'll be back with more pics soon!

#2 looks like the top of my head after my daughter smashes brown play-doh in it

Very interesting stuff, and good photography too!

Thanks guys!  I'm glad you liked them.  The other day I found a log covered in white coral fungi and moss, but I forgot my cam :frown:  I'm gonna get a pic tomorrow morning though, when I go hunting   That should be a cool pic too.

For now I'll keep looking through my old stuff!

LMFAO!  That's classic, shockvalue!

I've seen the one from pic #1 before, but i can't remember the name. I know it's on mushroom expert somewhere, but I can't find the damn thing.
