Lotsa weird Fuzz ?!
    #1045065 - 11/11/02 10:26 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

Hi Guys,

I birthed my cakes about 4 days ago. they are going fantastic and I already have mushrooms ready to pick but there is one cake with a strange thick bright white fuzz growing on one side of the cake and mushies on the other. It is really fluffing out and growing very fast.

I am not sure what it is? Any ideas...?

my humidity is 96% and temp 23degrees (C).... i have never had contamination problems before ....  just been luck i guess so I am unsure about what to look for!

Cheers
* Luna  :smile:

It is a sign of high humidity, but like ^^^ said, when working with cakes, you want the humidity to be high. You are right on track. Keep it up.
