Alright...dung compost in bag comes with mycelium?

well...my freind got "the original homestead mushrooms growing kit" it comes with everything from perti dishes to a casing soil. Well I inoculated 4 petri dishes and one was colonising after 6 days. 2 of 6 of the un-inoculated dishes had cob-web and some contam that looked like a spot of moisture...I cut em out so no worry...anyways... I looked at the blue bag of dung compost and theres mycelium growing in it!!! This kit requires you to colonise it yourself so I'm confused... I noticed a small hole in the bag and I squeezed it and the sweet auroma of mushrooms came upon me! so what should I do? should I wait for the petri dishes to fully colonise and then colonise the bird seed test tubes then add that to the casing soil...or should I just let the bag colonise and grow it?

It could be mycellium of coprinus species, very common in manure.

At least you know the compost supports mycellium!
